  • Overview

    Job Purpose:

    This is a customer facing position responsible for managing escalated customer issues and customer upgrades.  

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties:

    • Responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering/resolving escalated issues within scope & a timely manner.
    • Detailed product knowledge of PS software.
    • Provide business analyst consulting
    • Ability to communicate with customer and internal teams to resolve technical issues
    • Communicates effectively with all levels within the organization and the customer.
    • Responsible for reporting items to management and executive teams.
    • Responsible for communicating regularly with customers on issues.
    • Clearly understands the needs and business objectives of the customer.
    • Assist project managers as needed.
    • Must be able to travel 40% of the time.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Works with limited supervision

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

    • Must have professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Must be well versed in business etiquette.
    • Needs to be proficient in completing site surveys, and pre-implementation tasks, as assigned.
    • Technically competent with add-on third party devices.
    • Ethical practices and behavior in software project implementations.
    • Proven skills in communicating within all levels of the organization(s).
    • Computer literate in Microsoft products; i.e., Project, Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Excellent presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Leadership skills that exercise sound judgment and discretion.
    • Experience working in a public safety environment.
    • Effective communication through remote workshops.
    • Ability to use remote access technology.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Experience in public safety or software industries.
    • 5+ years managing projects software implementation projects

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Experienced with support communications.

    Physical Requirements:

    Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools.  May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
