  • Overview

    Job Purpose:

    The Recruiter II will be responsible for partnering with the hiring manager to identify, source, screen and submit qualified candidates for open and approved positions.  They will work to understand the positions and fill company openings quickly and efficiently. 


    Essential Duties:

    • Confers with Hiring Managers and Supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
    • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
    • Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings.
    • Reviews applications and interviews applicants both internal and external to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
    • Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in organization.
    • Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
    • Maintains data in Applicant Tracking System for Affirmative Action Purposes.
    • Ensure adherence to all equal employment opportunity (EEO) legislation, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other government compliance requirements.
    • Responsible for weekly recruiting reports
    • Build relationships with the candidates to sell the position and encourage successful hires

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
    • Capability of effective planning and priority setting.’ knowledgeable in HR procedures, relevant laws related to interviewing employees, explaining human resource policies, benefits, and preparing human resource reports.
    • Understanding of Recruiting and relevant laws relating to recruiting
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Organization skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality with data and sensitive matters
    • Ability to build solid relationships with hiring managers and outside vendors
    • Ability to source, hire and build relationships with individuals who work remotely
    • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Access a Plus)
    • Ability to interface with multiple levels of management
    • Experience with ATS (iCIMS is a plus)
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and quickly adapt to change


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
    • 3 to 5 years of recruiting experience required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business

    Physical Requirements:

    Typically, the employee may sit comfortable to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
