  • Overview

    Job Purpose:

    Responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing and repair process of Securus Video Visitation hardware, and related Equipment.  Responsible for system configurations, testing, and preparation for shipping. Responsible to support the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation to comply with the latest updates/changes.


    Essential Duties:

    • Initial Product Builds, imaging, testing and Repair of SVV terminals
    • Perform analysis on field return items
    • Perform Software Loads and Configuration
    • Responsible for Quality of Product being shipped
    • Responsible for internal Technical Support assistance
    • Report to management daily progress to schedule and quality
    • Responsible for creation and maintenance of production documentation
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
    • Cross train peers within department to diversify intellectual resources
    • Adhere to Inventory control processes
    • Assist Warehouse personnel in scheduled Inventory counts
    • Prepare shipments to the field
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Manufacturing Tech, Technical Support of PC equipment experience
    • Troubleshooting and Repairing PCs
    • Loading and configuring systems
    • Strong self-initiative skills
    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
    • Demonstrates working knowledge of applications that support business operations
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
    • Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment
    • Attention to detail, self-motivated and directed
    • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
    • Thorough understanding of general business operations and processes


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 2+ years’ experience in a help desk, customer service or technical support environment
    • Progressive experience in several areas of operational technology with a focus on manufacturing and warehouse fulfillment
    • Work experience in a high speed manufacturing environment
    • Must be able to work independently

    Physical Requirements:

    Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools.  May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
