    Growing South Florida based Software Company has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer with Windows 7 Professional and Windows Server 2012 R2 experience as a base.


    Responsibilities of this position include the design, installation, configuration and management of enterprise systems, including software and hardware elements of the VoIP, LAN & WAN infrastructure.  Provide in-depth technical expertise on infrastructure projects, assessing and recommending architectural designs/changes to systems in response to business or technical requirements.  Requires active ownership of the planning, design, and implementation of technologies and related infrastructures.


    Required Skills

    • Knowledge of Linux and Windows server-level operating systems
    • Knowledge of Windows client-level operating systems
    • Knowledge of common Server Roles and Applications; including but not limited to SQL, IIS, FTP, SCCM and Hyper-V
    • Knowledge of TCP and UDP protocols
    • Knowledge of SAN, Storage Fabric, NAS, Blade Servers, Load Balancers and Tape Library Systems
    • Knowledge of Hosted Services such as SharePoint, Office365 and DNS
    • Knowledge of Windows Server deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • Knowledge of Active Directory design, implementation, troubleshooting and Group Policy
    • Knowledge of routing, switching and networking protocols including LAN/WAN topologies
    • Knowledge of industry standards including PCI and ITIL
    • Knowledge of VoIP systems and function such as hunt groups, skill sets, DIDs, etc


    Additional Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience
    • Knowledge of Avaya phone system components including ACR, WFM/WFO, AACC
    • Knowledge of CISCO and Dell appliances is a plus
    • Knowledge of PowerShell is a plus
    • Ability to work independently as well as from a ticketing system
    • Ability to identify inefficient systems and procedures, and make recommendations
    • Ability to work weekends, off hours and public holidays as necessary to meet business needs
