    Job Purpose:


    Responsible for coordinating the successful planning and execution of implementing all activities required for customer accounts, as well as, infrastructure deployments and integration projects within the scope of work details and requirements; budget planning and management; resource coordination and scheduling; material requisition and shipping/delivery; telecom provisioning; quality management; and other essential project management duties.


    Essential Duties:

    • Act as the primary customer contact and Securus Operations representative for all implementation projects.
    • Manage multiple customers and projects/tasks simultaneously.
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
    • Create and use Gantt charts, spreadsheets or other appropriate tools to manage time and tasks.
    • Manage multiple implementation tasks with other internal groups to ensure project completion is in accordance with customer requirements.
    • Manage the project budget; identify and manage potential risks; and review how risks may impact scope, schedule, quality and cost.
    • Identify and implement solutions where efficiencies can be made, when managing issues/risks, or when altered requirements will involve extra resources or time.
    • Drive software and hardware development provisions not defined in the original scope of work.
    • Order all required materials for software and/or hardware installations.
    • Collaborate with Integration Vendors to provide data, integrations of debit features, PIN files, and other vendor related products and services.
    • Collaborate with Telecom Provisioning to deliver voice and data transport to customer facilities.
    • Plan resources and develop schedules for Field Technician visits to facilities for hardware and transport installations.
    • Continuously monitor and present reports defining project progress and problem solutions internally and externally.
    • Create and customize project plans for RFPs (Request for Proposal) for new and existing business.
    • Facilitate daily/weekly/monthly conference calls to discuss project progress to stakeholders.
    • Provide Meeting Agenda(s) & Meeting Minutes for every facilitated conference call.
    • Conduct Lesson Learned meetings internally/externally to promote best practices and identify continuous process improvements, when applicable.


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Must have an in depth understanding of the goals for each project as well as a comprehensive understanding of the various project and business dynamics.
    • Must have the ability to make effective decisions along the course of each project; and, know when to call upon other resources to understand the options and how each decision could affect the outcome of the project.
    • Must fully understand the delineation between decisions to be made alone as part of the project scope and decisions that require a committee review and agreement before moving forward.
    • Demonstrates leadership skills, communication, analytical and problem solving skills, detail oriented
    • Demonstrates ability to effectively employ both short term and long term project planning skills
    • Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
    • Comprehend RFP and MSA contract language, requirements, and stipulations
    • Intermediate understanding of finance and accounting principles
    • Knowledge and background to SCRUM project procedures
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, OneNote
    • Ability to manage up to 40+ projects simultaneously
    • Must be able to travel up to 25%
    • Must be able to work 9+ hour work days


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of equivalent experience
    • 7 years proven experience in Telecom industry and/or experience working with the delivery of CTI and/or VoIP infrastructure.
    • 7 years proven experience in project management leading team members through a variety of project plans, both large and small
    • PMP certification from Project Management Institute

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business
    • ITIL Certification
    • Experience in Telecom industry and/or experience working with the delivery of CTI and/or VoIP products
    • Six Sigma member

    Physical Requirements:

    Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools.  May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
