    Job Purpose:


    Assists with the creation of proposals used to promote the company’s services. This position requires an individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to coordinate the development and production of new business RFPs/RFIs/RFQs/proposals.  A substantial writing background is required, including experience interpreting the needs of your customer. Process improvement experience is needed, and an ability to manage multiple projects is a must.


    Essential Duties:

    • Analyzing and logging in Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and other solicitations to determine appropriate response formats and timeframes.
    • Consistently communicating with Sales personnel and Company Principals on the proposal team regarding format, approach, status and deadlines.
    • Compiling and reworking operational information, individual qualifications and corporate background sections to meet specific RFP requirements.
    • Develop and maintain the RFP Knowledgebase to ensure current and accurate information.
    • Coordinating all related proposal workflow including SME assignments, review cycles, version control, processing support and adherence to proposal schedule.
    • Producing complete documentation and RFP submissions for distribution.
    • Performing analysis of competitive RFP submissions obtain through open record requests.
    • Assisting the legal team and others as necessary to complete contracts after successful proposals.
    • Performing other tasks under the direction of the Sales Operations Director that may be necessary to accomplish the team’s objectives.
    • Responsibilities of this position include responding to multiple proposal requests, coordinating and monitoring internal resources, and presentation production (including synthesis of both writing and graphics elements), production and complete documentation of the proposal process.

    • Proactive nature, ability to solve problems, eye for detail and strong communications skills both written and oral
    • Thorough understandings of office automation software with excellent computer (Microsoft Office) skills are essential, particularly extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 2 years experience; or any combination of education and/or experience that would provide an equivalent background


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Business or related field preferred.


    Physical Requirements:

    Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools.  May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
