  • Overview

    Job Purpose:


    Works closely with Product Management and Sales and will be responsible for planning, organization, and executing marketing campaigns in the field.  Additionally, this position will be responsible for completing customer visits and determining best method to increase product usage.


    Essential Duties:

    • Become subject matter expert on key products and services
    • Create strategic and actionable marketing campaigns designed to increase product usage
    • Travel to customer locations in order to execute marketing campaign plans consisting of product awareness and demand generation
    • Document clear success criteria for every customer visit and provide daily reporting on campaign status
    • Report on marketing campaign financial performance
    • Develop customer and sales tools that will aide in increasing awareness once campaign is executed
    • Gather and report on customer intelligence
    • Conduct competitive and market research, compile findings, and communicate to senior leaders
    • Understand market and competitive conditions in order to suggest and execute state, regional, and national marketing campaigns
    • Plan and execute state and regional trade show activities to generate product awareness, increase product penetration, and increase usage
    • Manage and track multiple complex projects and campaigns
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
    • Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
    • Proven ability to create and execute strategic marketing campaigns that elicit actionable results
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Experience managing go-to-market strategy and competitive analysis
    • Excellent Project Management and oral/written communication skills to develop marketing programs from start to finish. 
    • Ability to speak and conduct presentations in front of large groups
    • Demonstrated ability to handle corporate expectations and shifting priorities
    • Strong computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Travel requirement:  40-60%
    • Availability to travel/work weekends


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related major
    • 5 years previous Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, or Sales experience.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA in Marketing or related field


    Physical Requirements:

    Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools.  May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
