Archonix Systems, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Securus Technologies, Inc., is a nationally-recognized software development company focused in the public safety industry.  We are currently seeking an Implementation Specialist for our healthcare solution with responsibilities for supporting project implementations. 


  • Responsible for supporting Project Managers in planning, coordinating and delivering projects within scope & budget.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • Responsible for Software Implementations.
  • Responsible for Go-Live Support.
  • Responsible for software testing, user scripts, and
  • Clearly understands the needs and business objectives of the customer.
  • Must have professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be well versed in business etiquette.
  • Needs to be proficient in completing site surveys, and pre-implementation tasks, as assigned.  
  • Technically competent with add-on third party devices.
  • Must be able to travel 40% of the time.


Full system implementation projects are complex.  While projects may be clearly aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives, it requires people to incorporate and embed the principals identified into the software.  We develop Implementation Specialists to be practical in their approach to issues, use common sense to assist project managers with system-wide implementations, and to actively participate in continual improvement of processes and procedures used to roll out software solutions.     



Archonix Implementation Specialists are professionals who are equipped with the knowledge and skills, performance, and personal behavior and attitudes to support projects from inception to success under the direction of project managers.  In addition, our Implementation Specialists understand key processes used in most public safety sectors, government key terms, and program life cycles.


People skills cannot be emphasized enough on a software implementation project.  Our Implementation Specialists are comfortable speaking with all levels of people in an organization.  They effectively promote a relaxed atmosphere while creating an environment of participation, reward and encouragement.


To perform in this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


  • Ethical practices and behavior in software project implementations.
  • Proven skills in communicating within all levels of the organization(s).
  • Computer literate in Microsoft products; i.e., Project, Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Assist project managers in multiple implementation projects at different locations.
  • 40% travel throughout the U.S.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Leadership skills that exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Experienced with support communications.





  • Must be able to pass a standard law enforcement background check.
  • College degree or Vocational training in related industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate concepts effectively.




  • Experience in healthcare or software industries.
  • Self-motivated, with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude.


  • Ability to travel; carry laptop, projector and materials.
  • Be able to stand/sit or work for long periods of time, multiple shifts.


  • Ability to work in a public safety environment.
  • Ability to setup workshops requiring Internet communications.
  • Ability to use remote access technology.
