Overview

The Senior SharePoint Developer will develop new SharePoint solutions and support strategic and legacy solutions in multiple SharePoint and content management projects for a headquarters division.  We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer who will use out of the box features and/or custom coding for creating webpages, forms, workflows and more to create custom solutions that solve customers’ needs.   This Senior Developer will need to be able to work with MS SharePoint Designer, MS Visual Studio, and MS InfoPath, utilizing jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, XML and other languages to build and maintain technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain SharePoint application
  • Design and develop web solutions using MS SharePoint Designer, MS Visual Studio, and MS InfoPath, utilizing jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, XML and other languages to build and maintain technical solutions. 
  • Develop custom tailored SharePoint workflows and data exports to provide maximum automation and availability of submitted data for reporting and metrics on all collected information. 
  • Develop Master Page, CSS file and site templates. • Assist in the development of application design documentation. 
  • Gather and provide user stories with estimation of level of effort (LOE) and create schedule based on that LOE. 
  • Assist in the development of training documentation and provide training when needed. 
  • Attend and contribute to SharePoint meetings. Including but not limited to meetings with stakeholders to understand business processes. 
  • Schedule and track project milestones including user acceptance testing, migrations between environments, SDLC gates, and deployment to production.

Qualifications

  • SharePoint 2010 
  • SharePoint Designer 
  • MS InfoPath 
  • HTML, XML, ASP.NET 
  • Bachelors degree or 5+ years experience in SharePoint technologies
  • Experience with SharePoint Central Administration, Services, IIS, Web Parts and site collection settings
  • Experience with Sharepoint-based solutions (custom apps, webparts, workflows, etc.)
  • High knowledgeable in front-end development languages/technologies (HTM5, CSS, JavaScript, etc.), C# and ASP.NET web development
