This position will take direction from the IVR IT Manager and is required as part of the Production Support team to provide 24x7 support for IVR applications.  Our IVR applications handle over 3.5 million calls per month, or over 100,000+ calls per day.  In addition, the IVRs’ handles over 43% of our funding.  Even a short outage can have a very large impact on our business.



  • Work as a technical expert in maintaining, upgrading and supporting a multitude of mission critical  
  • applications and ensuring that the applications are usable and accessible to all users.
    Perform all facets of systems administration of a network supporting a variety of services on Windows and Linux servers.
  • Lead in performing systems integration activities, making different technologies work together and troubleshoot issues.
  • Create and verify backups of data
  • Candidate must be highly motivated and a self-starter with ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.

Other responsibilities:

  • System Administrator (Windows / Linux) – Tier 3 equivalency 
  • IVR Administrator (end to end support for IVR related applications) 
  • PowerShell / Scripting / Salt Automation responsibilities 
  • PCI Compliance Adherence for IVR applications
  • On-call support
  • Document application runbooks


  • Experience providing support maintenance and security for Red Hat & CentOS 6.8 on Linux servers
  • Experience installing and configuring various open source products
  • Experience with VMware, configuration and management
  • Understanding of networks and strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills
    Possess a positive, helpful, and professional demeanor
  • Associate or higher degree in a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in system administration

  • Nuance installation and configuration
  • Microsoft Speech Recognition installation and configuration
  • Syslog experience
