Overview

This position will work with our Tablet development team as Tier 3 support.  The candidate must be literate with LAMP applications.  Diagnose and assign trouble tickets, triage production issues, document requirements back to development, and perform break fix operations.  The candidate will support applications from QA/Preproduction and Production.  Will have responsibility for keeping the environment on current versions of software and participate in environment design decisions.  On call support is required of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Experienced in LAMP stacks
  • Experience programming in Java
  • Expertise in Linux
  • Providing stability for supported applications
  • Responsible for keeping software on supported versions and applying regular security patching and software patching
  • Ticket support for production issues
  • Expertise in application/environment troubleshooting

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years of Red Hat Linux
  • 3-5 years working with LAMP Stack
  • 3-5 years of Java experience
  • Android ADB device management
  • Proven troubleshooting skills in a production environment

 

Preferred:

  • MySQL experience
  • Node.js/ Angular.js experience
  • NOSQL database experience
  • Experience with PL/SQL
