An Information Security Administrator supports the organization by assisting the associate base in complying with corporate policies. IS Administrator will support data collections for SOX, PCI, CPNI, COBIT and other regulations. The position also calls for the drafting of documentation for policies and then communicating those policies to associates. Working under the supervision of the Information Security Supervisor, the IS Administrator will research compliance controls, audit departments to ensure continued compliance and report infractions to management. The IS Administrator will occasionally be involved with the development and implementation of new controls. This may require research and analytics to determine scope and include contacting vendors for pricing.
