Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated individual able to design and develop solutions for our calling platform which requires quick prototyping skills when developing new applications. This position will require good design and communication skills to help the team develop quality code using best practices. This role will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple technologies and will participate in grooming, design, development and internal demos.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop new & existing product(s)
  • Collobrate with stakeholders (EPMO, Product Development, QA, Cross Functional Development Teams)
  • Develop high level strawman with sprint schedule, deliverables (feature/functionalities), and testable code to QA
  • Understand business requirments and implement them using development sprint cycles
  • Conduct POC as required
  • Create Design Documents
  • Perform unit test
  • Conduct Demo/Showcases to stakeholders
  • Deploy in Production
  • Troubleshoot critical production issues, make required code cahges to satisfactory resolution

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of development experience
  • Ability to work with diverse teams
  • Ability to take total ownership of assigned components
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience in building and maintaining scalable and distributed systems.
  • Team Player, self-starter and be self-driven
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability and willingness to pick up and learn new technologies and build prototypes

 

Technology Required

  • Multi-threaded high performance applications 
  • Java/ J2EE
  • VoIP, SIP
  • Voice and Video Technologies such as RTP, SDP, H.264
  • JDBC/SQL/Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • Linux, Unix, Windows
  • Proficient with Subeversion and Git

 

Technology Preferred

  • Development experience of IVR Application such as Call Center, Outbound IVR, etc.
